ANATOMICAL AND HISTOLOGICAL STRATIFICATION OF COMPOSITE RESINS IN ESTHETIC ANTERIOR RESTORATIONS (Abstract): The adhesive materials made possible the restoration of teeth to their full functionality by creating a link with dental hard tissues, keeping as much as possible, the healthy tissues of the teeth. A challenge for dentists is to restore the natural form of a tooth. This implies restoration of the appropriate anatomy, the color, depth and translucency in typical adverse conditions encountered in the practice of dentistry (the small size of teeth, lack of space, the reduced thickness of the layer of material to be applied). Anatomical stratification involves reproduction of enamel and dentin to the thickness and proper position of each one and histological stratification simply replaces the layer of tissue that will be restored. It is important to have an effective and stable modality in order to guide stratification, and this can be achieved by means of a rigid silicone guide. In this article have been analyzed the layering technique, silicone guide and composite resin that may be the key to the long term success of the restoration from a functional and aesthetical point of view.
