      THE CORONARY SINUS – ANATOMICAL LANDMARKS RELEVANT FOR THE CARDIOLOGIST (Abstract): The coronary sinus became clinically important by its role in different interventional procedures.Through this venous conduit, in the electrophysiology laboratory, the territory of the left heart is accessed. The detailed knowledge of the anatomy of the coronary sinus is essential for the safe and successful accomplishment of these diagnostic and therapeutic maneuvres. We intend to demonstrate by dissection the relevant anatomic landmarks for the catheterization of the coronary sinus.
