THE ORIGIN AND THE MORPHOLOGICAL PECULIARITIES OF THE ANTERIOR ARTERIES OF THE INFERIOR RENAL SEGMENT (Abstract): Using the study methods the dissection, injection of contrast agent and plastics, as well as simple and angioCT angiography study, the authors describe, on a number of 268 cases, the arteries for the inferior renal segment regarding their origin, morphometry, traject and termination. The artery of the infero renal segment had its origin in the renal artery in 90 cases (33.58% of total cases), in 35 cases from a terminal renal artery branch. Directly from the aorta, so as basal artery had its origin in 13 cases, 4 cases, the artery segment representing an inferior triple renal artery and in one case was double, both originated from the aorta. The arterial caliber was 0.2 to 0.75 cm, greater when we are dealing with basal arteries or polar arteries that originate in the renal artery trunk and lower when the origin is from the anterior terminal branch of the renal artery. In terms of ending manner, our results are higher for ending by bifurcation (49.03%) and lower when end by trifurcation (40.97%). We did not found more than three branches as ending manner. Lower renal pole is fully supplied by the anterior-inferior artery in 51.56% of the cases and the anterior mesorenal extension was found in 50.57% of cases.
