ISSUES ON THE BODY COMPOSITION OF RUGBY PLAYERS – THE FORWARDS(Abstract): This study addresses the quality of rugby players body weight, with reference to the forwards. Anthropometric measurements were made on the players and recordings of the conditions of specific adaptation effort in the game of rugby. Among the conclusions, we note the fact that players are adapting to a specific effort level, depending on the position held in the team, something that is not evident at the junior or amateur rugby players. It is pointed out that tested players have a hypertrophy of the muscle, specific phenomenon of force sports. However the layer of fat is high, which diminishes sportive performance of these players.
