      INTERACTIVE MEASUREMENT OF THE ANGLES OF THE BONE TRABECULAE IN THE ALVEOLAR PROCESS OF MAXILLA (Abstract): The modern techniques of dental treatment and, in particular, implantology, have raised the interest of anatomists because of modeling and remodeling processes of maxilla. Motivated by clinical problems related to bone remodeling, this work has focused on the anatomical study of maxilla and the orientation of the trabeculae in the cancellous bones. It were examined 50 skulls of adult following not only the appearance of alveolar process, the orientation and the structure of dental alveoli, but also the changes printed by the state of dentition and the age. Sections were made at various levels through maxilla, on which was intended the orientation of bone trabeculae. The performed sections in the molars were examined mesoscopically and computerized processed for the interactive measuring of the angles under which are targeted the bone trabeculae according to the masticatory forces. At the top of socket the trabeculae are verticoradially oriented and at the bottom, orizontoradially. The angles under which are oriented the trabeculae of the cancellous bone present significant variations in the molars.
