PRIMITIVE FALLOPIAN TUBE CARCINOMA – ABOUT 3 CASES (Abstract): Objective analysis of cases with primary fallopian tube carcinoma in terms of clinical and pathological parameters.Material and methods 3 patients diagnosed with primary fallopian tube carcinoma in a period of 11 years. Data were analyzed and interpreted in order to identify any favorable association. All cases underwent primary surgical treatment. Pathologic examination of the specimens confirmed the malignant nature and primitive tubal origin of the lesions. It was also aimed to identify morphological factors of unfavorable prognosis. Results the 3 cases represent 1% of patients with malignant adnexal tumors diagnosed in the same period of time. In any event the diagnosis was not established preoperatively. Primitive tubal origin of neoplasia was documented based on pathologic criteria published in literature. Conclusions reduced frequency of this lesion makes it difficult to obtain an experience. Preoperative diagnosis is established extremely rare, even in specialized centers.
