      A large group of researchers, conducted by Anca Sava, Claudia Florida Costea and Gabriela-Florenţa Dumitrescu, realized a comprehensive „guide to ocular pathology” entitled „Ghid de patologie oftalmologică. Afecţiunile pleoapei şi conjunctivei” (Editura Ştiinţa Chişinău, 2015), which has been published also in a French translation as „Guide de pathologie ophthalmologique. Afections de paupiéres et de la conjonctive” (Editura Universa, 2015). This book is the result of a unique collaboration between pathologists and clinicians, as it have been written by members of ocular surgery and ocular pathology departments working together in a leading specialized hospital in Romania. The main authors are ophthalmic pathologist (Professor Anca Sava, MD, PhD; Gabriela Florenţa Dumitrescu, MD, PhD), as well as an ophthalmologist (Assistant Professor Claudia Florida Costea, MD, PhD), who are working together at „Prof. Dr. N. Oblu” Emergency Clinical Hospital Iaşi, Romania, and who, in the same time, are teaching ophthalmic anatomy and ophthalmology at „Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iaşi, Romania. But this book also united a large team of co-authors consisting in neurosurgeons, cardiologists, pediatric oncologists, pediatric surgeon, plastic surgeon, pediatricians, endocrinologist, radiologist, laboratory physician and many more.
