ACQUIRED IDIOPATHIC UNILATERAL NEVOID TELANGIECTASIA - CASE REPORT (Abstract): Unilateral nevoid telangiectasia (UNT) is a rare congenital or acquired vasculopathy, clinically characterized by unilateral, dermatomal superficial telangiectasia. Though exact etiopathogenesis is unclear, the most frequent hypotheses refer to hyperestrogenic status in certain physiological or pathological circumstances, estrogen and progesterone vascular receptor anomalies, or a somatic cromosomial mosaicism revealed during heightened serum levels of estrogen or other vasoactive substances. The reported case refers to a 16 years old girl with cutaneous signs compatible with acquired UNT, with a dermatomal distribution within the C4-T1 nerves area and a progressive evolution from the age of 10, without hormonal anomalies.
