ASSESSMENT OF AESTHETIC IMPROVEMENT OF BUCCAL WHITE SPOT LESIONS THROUGH INFILTRATION METHOD (Abstract): Infiltration of non-cavitary carious lesions is a rapid treatment option to mask the lesions located on the labial side of the anterior teeth. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the clinical outcomes of minimally invasive technique of infiltration to disguise the non-cavitary caries and improve aesthetics without requiring a restoration. Material and methods: The patients participating in the survey (in no. of 17) had white-spot lesions in the upper and lower front teeth. Treatment of these lesions was performed using the kit Icon - Caries Infiltration vestibular (DMG, Germany). Results: Evaluation of the clinical appearance of the lesions immediately after the infiltration pointed out that some of them are completely masked, and some very little. Evaluation at one week after infiltration revealed that at some of them aesthetic appearance has improved over time, due to the chameleon effect of infiltrant. Conclusions: Even if not disappear all chalky white areas of lesion, the aesthetic appearance is improved considerably.
