DIFFUSE CUTANEOUS RETICULOHISTIOCYTOSIS OR MULTICENTRIC RETICULOHISTIOCYTOSIS WITH CUTANEOUS ONSET? REVIEW OF THE LITERATURE IN RELATION TO A CASE (Abstract): Reticulohistiocytoses are defined as rare benign histiocytic proliferative disorders of unknown etiology involving the skin and virtually any internal organ. The spectrum of reticulohistiocytoses includes clinical forms that are limited to the skin (reticulohistiocytoma and diffuse cutaneous reticulohitsiocytosis) and multicentric reticulohistiocytosis that usually associates a papulo-nodular skin eruption and erosive polyarthritis. We report the case of a patient with clinical, histological and immunohistochemical features of diffuse cutaneous reticulohistocytosis. We also consider the possibility of a multicentric reticulohistiocytosis with cutaneous onset.
