      THE PELVIC TUMOR RECURRENCE – CASE PRESENTATION (Abstract): The present study has for object the presentation of the case of a female patient MS, of 59 years old, diagnosed and previously subjected to a surgical intervention by the abdomino – perineal way, for the tumor of inferior rectum, the rectosigmoidian resection Milles type being applied. The patient came after 11 months after the surgical intervention, with vegetant hemorrhagic perineal formation of 4 cm about. The clinic and imagistic investigations identified the pelvic tumor recurrence with the invasion of one ileal loop. The therapeutic attitude consisted in radiotherapy (10 sessions) and surgical approach by the combined way abdomen – perineal from which it resulted segmented enterectomy, total hysterocolpectomy, peritonalization in order to close the pelvic cavity anterior, the excision of the perineal tumor formation and the remake of the pelvic floor with gluteal flap. After the surgical intervention the female patient had another 5 radiotherapy courses of treatment.
