THE MORPHOLOLOGICAL EXPLORATION OF THE TRIGEMINAL COMPLEX (Abstract): The term trigeminal complex defines the following: the motor root of trigeminal nerve, the sensitive root of trigeminal nerve, the trigeminal ganglion of the trigeminal nerve, the ophthalmic nerve, the maxillary nerve, the mandibular nerve. The trigeminal nerve represents the 5th pair of cranial nerves. It is a mixed nerve: sensitive and motor. It represents the first branchial arch, the mandibular arch. Among the branchial nerves, the trigeminal nerve together with the facial nerve, constitute the preotic nerve group. On its pathway it presents an epibranchial ganglion, represented by the half moon ganglion, Gasser’s ganglion.
