      COUINAUD VS. TAKASAKI LIVER SEGMENTATION – A SURGICAL POINT OF VIEW (Abstract): Liver surgery and living donor liver transplantation gained an important role in the past years. A correct preoperative liver assesment, also regarding liver segmentation, is the key to a successful surgery. Couinaud’s is considered to be the most accepted segmentation, but Takasaki’s, the most recent one, seemed to gain more and more followers, due to it’s simplicity and useful.
